Alex Snyder

Alex joined Duncan Williams Asset Management in 2024, bringing a rich and varied background from his extensive career in the financial industry. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2010, Alex has developed a broad range of skills and experience. Alex began his career in the Fixed Income Research Department, gaining deep insights into market trends and fixed-income securities. He then spent a year processing and analyzing securities portfolios for institutional clients, ensuring accurate and efficient portfolio management. With experience in asset liability management, Alex has helped organizations manage their financial stability by analyzing institutions' balance sheets concerning interest rate risk. Known for his analytical skills and client-focused approach, he has successfully built strong client relationships and provided tailored financial advice. Earlier in his career, Alex pursued his dream of playing professional golf, competing in various tours worldwide, including the PGA Tour. A native Memphian and graduate of Memphis University School, Alex currently serves as the Varsity Golf Coach for Evangelical Christian School. He enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends in his spare time.
