Eric Ballentine, Executive Director, STREETS Ministries

Eric, having grown up in the South Memphis community, understands the struggles youth face daily. After pursuing a life of crime, drugs, gang affiliation, and violence, Eric made a life-changing decision and surrendered his life to God. Over the past 17 years, he has been on a mission to impact lives and be a positive change for inner-city communities. Eric has completed training through the Urban Youth Initiative and Soul for the City. He has previously worked as a case mentor at Juvenile Intervention and Faith-based Follow-up (JIFF) and served as program staff at Soul for the City. Looking to forward his efforts in inner-city outreach, he founded a community organization known as The Ark in the 38109 Riverview Kansas community. Now at Streets, Eric is working diligently to implement innovative programming and long-lasting community partnerships.
